A | Unfinished mantels take approximately 2 business days to send out, and stained mantels take approximately 4-5 business days to send out upon confirmation of the order. The number of days may vary slightly depending upon the busyness of the season. |

A | All mantels are shipped UPS Ground for $40 in the continental US ($20 for the Colonial Cottage Shelf Mantels). Please call for other rates. |

Q | What type of wood or materials do you use on the mantels? |
A | The St. George, The Hunstville, and Hampton Mantels are made from (MDF) Medium Density Fiberboard. We use birch for most other style mantels. |

Q | What is the letter G on the measuring guide? |
A | Letter G is the depth of the return or thickness of the fireplace marble, plus the space between the marble and the sheetrock behind it. This measurement allows your mantel to be built so that the outer edge is flush against the wall and the inner edge overlaps the marble. |
